Ashk aankhon mein chhupaaunga chala jaaunga

Apni dahleez pe kuchh der pada rahne de
Jaise hi hosh mein aaunga chala jaaunga

Khwaab lene koi aaye ki na aaye koi
main to awaaz lagaaunga chala jaaunga

Chand yaadein mujhe bacchon ki tarah pyaari hain
Unko seene se lagaaunga chala jaaunga

In galion se kuch bi nai lena mujh ko
Bas tumhen dekhne aaon ga chala jaon ga

तेरी मुश्किल न बढ़ाऊॅंगा चला जाऊॅंगा

अपनी दहलीज़ पे कुछ देर पड़ा रहने दे
जैसे ही होश में आऊॅंगा चला जाऊॅंगा

ख़्वाब लेने कोई आए कि न आए कोई
मैं तो आवाज़ लगाऊॅंगा चला जाऊॅंगा

चंद यादें मुझे बच्चों की तरह प्यारी हैं
उनको सीने से लगाऊँगा चला जाऊँगा

मुद्दतों बाद मैं आया हूँ पुराने घर में
ख़ुद को जी भर के रुलाऊँगा चला जाऊँगा

इस जज़ीरे में ज़ियादा नहीं रहना अब तो
आजकल नाव बनाऊँगा चला जाऊँगा

I’ll Go Away (English Translation of Chala Jaunga Shayari)

Won’t create more trouble for you; I’ll go away.
Will hide these tears in my eyes; I’ll go away.

Let me lie for a moment at your doors,
And when I regain my consciousness, I’ll go away.

You come to take away my dreams or not,
I will call your name and go away.

Some memories I cherish like they are my children,
I’ll hold them close to my chest and go away.

I don’t want anything from these streets,
I will come to see you and go away.

You walk alongside me or not,
I will call your name and go away.

I’m visiting this old house after so long,
I’ll cry to my heart’s fill and go away.

I don’t want to live on this island for long,
One of these days, I will make a boat and go away.

I didn’t start this war for myself,
